Chester is considered one of the most beautiful towns in England and it’s well worth a visit. For those who want something a little different, try Blackpool, the UK’s premier seaside resort. Home to donkeys on the beach, seaside landladies and the Blackpool Tower, as well as the famous illuminations in the autumn and some of the most thrilling roller coasters in the world. The beautiful Lake District is perfect for beautiful scenery and wonderful views. The Lake District National Park has lots of great places to see such as Lake Windermere, West Water and Scafell Pike the highest mountain in England. Picturesque towns like Ambleside and Windermere can be expensive, but accommodation and hotels in Liverpool are just a short drive or train ride away.

There’s something for all ages and tastes in the north west, from seaside resorts and shopping to boat trips on the lakes or football and music. A truly eclectic and inspirational region.
